
The Art of Biliteracy
The development of literacy equips students for academic and personal success. The Adequate Responsive Teaching of Biliteracy (ART)* has been developed to support teachers in their delivery of instructional biliteracy practices. Participants examine the latest research and understand the importance for students to codevelop skills in two languages while making them feel empowered in their learning. The ART of Biliteracy serves as an initial training for teachers new to Biliteracy or as a re—calibration for experienced teachers and coaches who continue the implementation and integration of biliteracy practices in their classrooms.
