Jesús Rodríguez is the Executive Director of the BUENO Center for Multicultural Education at the University of Colorado Boulder. He brings extensive experience in school and district leadership and a deep commitment to educational equity for culturally and linguistically diverse learners. 

He is also an alumnus of several BUENO Center programs, including BUENO CAMP, the BUENO Career Ladder, and the Educational Equity and Cultural Diversity master’s program, making his leadership a full-circle return to an institution that shaped his early career.

Before leading the BUENO Center, Rodríguez worked within Denver Public Schools, most recently as an instructional superintendent, where he supported school leaders in improving instruction and equity-focused practices.

Rodríguez emphasizes social justice, multilingual learner advocacy, and community-rooted leadership. In his own words, the BUENO Center “had a significant impact on my journey as an educator,” and he is dedicated to honoring its 40‑year legacy while expanding its reach for future generations.
