Mishelle Jurado

Mishelle Jurado is a veteran bilingual educator with over 15 years of teaching experience in Albuquerque Public Schools, spanning elementary bilingual preschool through high school Spanish Language Arts and Advanced Placement courses .

 

She served as Biliteracy Coach, Spanish Language Arts teacher, and bilingual coordinator at schools including Atrisco Heritage Academy and Albuquerque High. Mishelle Jurado is actively participated in multiple committees—such as advocating for the Seal of Biliteracy Act (2013)—and contributes to boards (e.g. DLeNM)
