Olivia Gallardo

Olivia Gallardo is a retired educator with a long career in the Montebello Unified School District, where she worked to support bilingual and multicultural education. Dedicated to honoring and uplifting Latino culture, she extended her passion beyond the classroom by becoming an author and cultural advocate. Her writing and projects reflect a deep commitment to equity in education and to celebrating the traditions of the Latino community.

 

Following her retirement from teaching, Gallardo co-founded and now serves as Vice President of Latin Inspired Designs, a company that creates culturally significant products that highlight the richness of Latino heritage. Through her leadership, authorship, and educational experience, she continues to influence both educators and community members, bridging the gap between cultural tradition and modern educational practice.
